It is my pleasure to announce that our paper “Social Reward: Evaluating and Enhancing Generative AI through Million-User Feedback from an Online Creative Community” had been accepted to one of the world’s leading AI conferences, ICLR’24 (May, Vienna). 🎉 It is worth mentioning the high grade our work had received from the review committee by being selected as “spotlight” (top 5% of all submissions). 🔥 The work sheds the light onto how large scale user feedback can be used for evaluating and aligning T2Image models with community preferences. This question is especially relevant here at Picsart where we are on the mission to empower our users to reach their creative goals: creating popular visual art. Congratulations to all co-authors Arman Isajanyan, Arthur Shatveryan and Picsart AI Research supervisors Atlas Wang and Humphrey Shi. And last, but definitely not the least, this is the first successful ICLR submission from Armenia, which makes us extra proud! Today Picsart Academy hosted Artavazd Mehrabyan, Co-Founder & CTO at Picsart. Artavazd talked about the journey towards achieving success at Picsart, taking into consideration the obstacles and challenges that Picsart faced, along with the necessary actions to become a proficient engineer.

Arto Minasyan, Co-founder at Krisp, recently gave an exceptional presentation on engineering excellence at Krisp during his visit to Picsart Academy. The event was a great success, with the students being delighted with the valuable insights provided by the guest speaker on building a successful product with a team of engineering superheroes.
